Our cream tea has been a huge success and we’ve managed to raise over £500. I really need to thank everyone who came along and offered their support. I also need to thank everyone who baked scones. We’re having a Cream Tea at the St. Abbs Community Centre on Sunday afternoon (from 2pm to 4pm  30th May 2010). Everyone’s welcome to come along, enjoy some homebaking and a nice cuppa and find out more about our progress. We’ll also have the first batch of “St Abbs Coastal Rowing Association” T-shirts for sale.

Our local housing association (Berwickshire Housing Association) has very generously donated £300 to both the Eyemouth build and St Abbs build. We’d like to thank the Association for their support.

Collected our banner for the St. Abbs Coastal Rowing Association from FantasyPrints in Berwick this morning and it looks fantastic. We’ve put it up inside the workshop above our build. Spoken with Johnny and Eyemouth are planning to get a banner too.
