Our cream tea has been a huge success and we’ve managed to raise over £500. I really need to thank everyone who came along and offered their support. I also need to thank everyone who baked scones. A big thanks to Joanna, Penny, Susan and Libby for staffing the kitchen. Barbara for selling Derek’s prints on behalf of the Association and George for selling his photographs. Jack for selling the T-shirts and Raffle tickets, and Peter Scott for setting up the display boards. Thank you too to everyone else who helped on the day.
The level of commuity support was fantastic and we should now have enough money to finish the building of the skiff.
